Vacuum Excavation
Working with Our Vacuum Excavation Truck
For safe and precise excavation work, our vacuum excavation truck with twin turbines and an experienced operator can be deployed. Thanks to its powerful suction capacity and controlled operation, this method is particularly suitable for sensitive environments and locations where conventional excavation is difficult or carries a higher risk. Our vacuum excavation truck is primarily used for trial holes, allowing underground cables and utilities to be carefully exposed without the risk of damage. This technique is also increasingly used for excavation work near trees, helping to minimise damage to root systems. As the vacuum excavation truck removes and stores the excavated material itself, it is ideal for use in busy built-up areas, where it helps to keep disruption to a minimum.
Our Vacuum Excavation Services
Trial trenches with 3D-surveying
We carry out trial holes to verify the exact location of pipes, cables and other underground infrastructure. If required, these trial holes can also be accompanied by accurate 3D GPS surveying, allowing the discovered infrastructure to be digitally recorded with a high degree of precision. This data provides a reliable representation of the actual site conditions and forms a valuable basis for asset management, maintenance and future expansion. Thanks to the high surveying accuracy and detailed documentation, a complete and reliable as-built record can also be produced to meet the requirements of clients and network operators.
Tree Roots
When working near trees, it has become increasingly important in recent years to work carefully and in a controlled manner. Damage to tree roots can result in significant repair or replacement costs. Our vacuum excavation truck can therefore be used to carefully expose soil while minimising unnecessary damage to the root system. This technique is not only ideal for cable and infrastructure works, but can also be used to locate and expose tree roots, for example as part of root remediation. This allows work to be carried out safely and efficiently while respecting the existing environment.
Removal of Contaminated Materials
Our vacuum excavation truck is highly suitable for the safe and efficient removal of contaminated materials, such as contaminated soil, sludge, dust and other waste materials. This technique is particularly useful for soil remediation, where contaminated ground needs to be removed in a controlled and precise manner. Thanks to the powerful suction system, materials can be removed without further spreading the contamination. This makes the method ideal for difficult-to-access locations or environments where safe, clean and controlled working conditions are essential. The extracted materials are stored directly in the vacuum excavation truck’s container, keeping the work site clean and minimising disruption to the surrounding area.
